Denman D3 Kiss Brush

For some reason I have never tried a Denman brush before, I always just wandered past them in Boots. I really wish I had tried them sooner now though. The Denman D3 brush is a classic brush which is great for styling. It has a rubber anti static pad which also provides maximum grip on the hair.

The kiss brushes are available in 3 colours; red, black and pink. They all have a kiss print on them but I have to say the red is my favourite design.

The brush leaves your hair noticeably silkier and tangle free. I use it a lot for blow drying and it works really well.

The Denman D3 brush is £7.31 and available from Boots, Superdrug and some supermarkets.

Batiste Review

Anyone who knows me knows that Batiste is a staple product of mine. Until recently I really only used the medium brunette bottle as I didn't want to risk the grey roots, but the scents of these 3 are unbeatable.

Blush - This one smells very girly and a little bit flowery but not too much that its overpowering. This just has a really nice smell to it.

Wild - This scent is my least favorite of the three but I do still really like it. It smells a bit like leaves and mud but in a nice way obviously.

Brit - This is my absolute favorite scent of the three and out of all the batiste's I have used before. I don't know if its just because I know its meant to smell British but I do actually think it smells British. I think it smells of strawberries and cream and I love it.

All of these are available from Boots for £2.99 which is an amazing price as they last such a long time. Just make sure to rub them in properly or you will have grey hair for the day.

Cetaphil Review

When I kindly recieved some Cetaphil products I was so excited, I had only seen good reviews of the products. I received the gentle skin cleanser and the moisturising lotion.

Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser (£8.49) - I don't use this product as a cleanser as I don't feel it makes very much difference to my skin. I use it to remove make up especially mascara and it works so well. It does make your skin soft but it just didn't work as a cleanser for me. I do absoloutly love this product though and it appered in my yearly favorites post.

Cetaphil moisturising lotion (£8.49) - I really like how light this moisturiser is on the skin and how quickly it sinks in. Its very hydrating and I really like it. However I personally dont feel like its worth the money when I have tried much better moisturisers a lot cheaper from brands like Nivea and Simple.

Hope you all enjoyed this review

Collection 2000 products

I recently got a couple of collection 2000 products. I decided on the blushalicious shimmer shades and angel delight cream puff lipcream.

Personally I really like the cream puff as it creates a matt finish but not too matt if that makes sense. All the colours in the range are gorgeous and i'm thinking of going to buy the shade fairy cake. £2.99

With the blush it doesn't give much colour pay of at all. I think its great as a highlight as its not overly shimmery and doesn't make you look like a glitter bomb. If you just use one colour you do get a bit of colour pay off but I personally don't like shimmery blushes. £4.99

Soap and Glory Lock, Stock and Bubble

Soap and Glory. Lock, Stock and Bubble.

So in the Boots sale on boxing day I got the soap and glory lock stock and bubble gift set. It is so cute and i got it for £9 which is such a bargain. I had never tried soap and glory before and since it was half price i just had to get it.

For anyone who wants to try a few soap and glory products or if you already love soap and glory then this is definitely for you.

Hand food is like the most amazing hand cream ever it isn't greasy at all and leaves hands feeling and smelling gorgeous. In the set you get a 50ml bottle which you can buy by itself for £2.50 which is a great price for such a great product. This is my favourite product out of the set.

The righteous butter is an amazing moisturiser it sinks in super quick and leaves skin really soft. I will certainly be repurchasing this or perhaps the bigger tub so it lasts longer.

Japonesque brush review

A couple of months ago I was sent some brushes from Japonesque. Up until quite recently Japonesque brushes were seen as the brushes professionals used. Now they are more available for everyone to purchase and are available at John Lewis and Boots in the UK.

I was sent the pro powder, travel stippling, pro blush, pro angled eye shadow, mineral blush brush, pro eyeshadow crease brush and pro large eyeshadow fluff brush.

Mineral blush brush - I really love this brush, it picks up product amazingly well. The brush is flat on both side and a tiny bit pointed at the top. It has found its place in my everyday makeup routine.

Pro powder brush £28 - The handle on this brush is enormous. The bristles are so soft and its great for picking up the right amount of powder.

Pro blush brush £27 - The bristles are exactly the same as the powder brush just smaller so again they are extremely soft. Another great brush but I personally prefer the mineral blush brush.

Travel stippling brush - There is a pro stippling brush too which just has a longer handle. As you might be able to tell from the picture, I have been using this to stipple on foundation and really really love it. Its the first time I've never used a stippling brush and am very impressed with the results.

Pro large eyeshadow fluff brush £13.50 for the medium size - I love this brush but I have kinda small eyelids and I didnt think it would be so big but, its still great. I use it for applying one colour all over the lids but if you want to be at all precise and have smallish eyelids I would reccommend the medium size.

Pro eyeshadow crease brush - My favourite brush out of all of them, this is perfect for applying a colour in the crease and blending it in to the outer corner. As the tip is pointed its even good for applying eyeshadow under the lower lash line.

Pro angled eyeshadow brush - I mainly use this to put a lighter colour on my brow bone and in the inside corner of my eye and I have also used it to put colour all over the lid too.

All in all these brushes are amazing, wash really well and hardly shred at all. At the price I would still recommend as you really are paying for quality. If you are thinking of getting some, I would suggest the eyeshadow crease brush, mineral blush brush, pro powder brush and pro stippling brush.

New Years Resolutions

Happy New Year everyone....

Its time again to make new year resolutions, so here are mine........

1. Blog more - I love blogging but always end up having to do something else (schoolwork). Now I have my new camera, I have scheduled a few posts for the upcoming weeks as I have 3 exams in January. After that though I will be posting all the time.

2. Drink more water - I have already started this and can already see a difference. I didn't really used to drink very much at all maybe 2 drinks a day. For the past week though I have been drinking about 8 glasses of water a day and can see such a difference in my skin and I feel more awake all the time.

3. Exercise more - I have found some really good exercise apps and have already tried a few and really enjoy doing them. I am still aching from doing ab workouts 2 days ago.

4. Use up all the products I have before buying more - I have honestly got far too much stuff. About 30 shower gels, 12 body moisturisers, 6 cleansers, 7 facial moisturisers etc...

5. Stop leaving schoolwork till the last minute - I am really bad for this, I should be revising for my exams but I always find something else to do.

If you have made New Year's resolutions I would love to see what they are.
