Great British Flowers

I love having fresh flowers in my house! I feel like they really brighten the house up as well as adding some decoration. They definitely make a house a home! When I was given the chance to receive a gorgeous bouquet of flowers from the Great British Florist I was delighted. After only a day or two the flowers arrived, I wasn't expecting such an extravagant bouquet but after looking at the website I realised you can't expect anything but the best from the Great British Florist.

The bouquet I was sent is called the British Bouquet and I was more than impressed with it. The flowers came in a large cardboard box and were safe and sound when they arrived. As the name of the company suggests all of the flowers are grown on British soil which means that the flowers will stay fresher for longer. The colours of the flowers and even the foliage are very vibrant colour wise and are absolutely lovely. I've got to say these lasted at least 2 weeks before they even started to look a little bit limp. That is pretty good going considering that flowers normally last a week at the most before looking lifeless. Another great thing about flowers from Great British Flowers is that flowers are 'grown not flown' which increases their life whilst they are in your house as they haven't spent days being transported.

The British Bouquet would make a perfect birthday present, in fact they would make a great present for any occasion. I would definitely buy from Great British Florist and highly recommend them. At £45, some people may see these as expensive, however for a high quality bouquet of flowers that lasts for a long time, I think it is a very reasonable price. I have had many bouquets of flowers in the past (similar to these) but these are definitely my favourite of the bunch. You can buy this bouquet and many others here.

I'd love to know what your favourite type of flowers are.

CB12 Boost

If you saw my post on CB12 mouthwash last year, you will know how much I love it. Although it is very expensive for a mouthwash, it is definitely worth it. It neutralises everything in the mouth and keeps breath fresh all day. CB12 is also great for me as I have a new found allergy of fruit and an unknown ingredient in some toothpastes and mouthwashes which as you can imagine is a pain as I obviously need to brush my teeth but don't want to have bright red, enormous lumpy lips as a result. CB12 is the only mouthwash that I have found that doesn't affect me.

As CB12 mouthwash is very expensive it isn't something you want to use all the time, CB12 have developed a new chewing gum that have been specifically developed to freshen breath as well as to strengthen tooth enamel preventing cavities. The chewing gums themselves are quite large (almost the size of a pound coin) and a round shape with two layers; a white layer and a blue speckled layer.

I really like these chewing gums as the minty-ness lasts for a lot longer than standard chewing gum and breath still feels fresh 2-3 hours after using the gum. I eat tuna for lunch quite a lot and become conscious of my breath afterwards even after chewing gum however these are very very minty and the tuna scent disappears immediately. The one thing that I do dislike about the chewing gum is a minor thing, but I hate the fact it's bright blue, I would much prefer it to be white but like I said this is only a very minor thing.

At the moment CB12 Boost is half price at Boots at only £2.49 (here) which may seen like a lot but it's not the type of chewing gum you would constantly chew and instead is mainly just used after drinking coffee, eating or smoking. I would highly recommend these, especially at the price they are at now. I'm not sure I would pay full price for them at the end of the day as £5 for 10 chewing gums is a bit extravagant however at £2.49 I would stock up!

Have you tried any CB12 products?

Update #1

I feel like it has been ages since I blogged properly so thought I would let you know what I have been up to over the last month or so and what is coming up in my life. Last month our guide dog puppy, Tucker, left us to do his advanced training as a last step to becoming a guide dog. If you would like me to do a post about being a puppy walker for guide dogs please let me know in the comments. The picture above was taken at one of our favourite places to walk Tucker, its beautiful although I'm certain it's haunted as when it is quiet you can hear classic fair ground music although there is no obvious source of the music. Scary much?

I have also been revising (a little bit) for my AS exams which are in less than a month now. I have definitely upped my revision and obviously that has to come before blogging. My exams are over the space of a week whereas some people have them over a month so as soon as they are over I will have a bit of time off school and will be able to blog to my hearts content.

Next week I am going on holiday to Scarborough so expect some holiday related posts. I really love the Yorkshire countryside and looking forward to sharing some of my holiday snaps with you all!

I have also been looking for a part time job but there are literally no part time jobs where I live :( I haven't been religiously looking, like I would be if I was desperate for a job but is so frustrating. It's times like this when I wish I didn't live in a tiny town with about 6 shops. If you live in London and are looking for a job, I came across this great looking website called City Calling where you can do a UK job search although most advertised jobs are London based. Its a very aesthetically pleasing website unlike most job websites that are sort of difficult to navigate and aren't layed out in a very cohesive manner.

I'm also looking for a new camera under the £100 mark so if you have any recommendations please let me know as I am the worst decision maker ever so haven't yet chosen a camera and bought it.

I think that that is all I have to update you on for now.
